Extraction Method -Steam Distillation
Origin - Sri Lanka
History - In 1500 B.C the Arabs had control of the trade of cinnamon to Babylon, Egypt and Rome. Used by the Ancient Egyptians in embalming for is anti-fungal properties.
Also associated with protection, it was used by grave robbers in the 15th century who believed it would protect them from the plague.
